Using Chrome ensures optimal compatibility and reliability with the Qualiphy operator portal. If your video or audio isn’t working, it's likely due to blocked browser permissions. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
Click the Prompt During a Consultation
1. During a consultation, when prompted, Chrome will ask for camera/microphone access. Select Allow this time or Allow on every visit.
If You’ve Blocked Permissions by Mistake
1. Click the lock icon to the left of the address bar.
2. A menu appears showing site-specific permissions.
3. Next to Camera and Microphone, change any “Block” entries to Allow.
4. Click Done, then Reload the page.

Check Permissions on the Site Settings
1. Click the browser's ⋮ menu → Settings.
2. Navigate to Privacy and security → Site Settings.
3. Scroll to Permissions, then click Camera (and Microphone).
4. Ensure “Sites can ask to use your camera” is enabled.
5. Under Allowed to use your camera, confirm your video link is listed.
6. Remove any unwanted "Blocked" entries.
7. Select your preferred camera and mic from the dropdown defaults.
Refresh and Test
1. After changing settings, reload your operator portal.
2. Click the gear icon inside the Whereby room to confirm the correct camera and microphone are selected.
3. Close other applications (e.g. Zoom, Teams) that might be using your camera/mic.
4. Restart Chrome or your computer after resetting permissions
