Once an APRN or PA applies to Qualiphy, the first step is a license verification. The applicant must then attend an orientation and training session with the Clinical Director. After the session, the Clinical Director will approve the applicant and provide a contractor agreement for signature. Once the contract is signed, the Compliance team is notified to proceed with the onboarding process.
The Compliance team will create the provider’s account in the Qualiphy portal, which will trigger a welcome email with detailed instructions on how to access the portal. Simultaneously, the provider’s account will be set up in GUSTO, and the provider will receive an email requesting further details to complete the setup. Once the license information is uploaded, the provider can begin seeing patients in states where a collaborative agreement is not required or where they practice independently.
If a collaborative physician is required and available, the provider will receive a collaborative agreement along with instructions for submitting it to the Board of Nursing, if necessary. Once the collaborative agreement is signed, the provider can start seeing patients, except in states where Board documentation is required. In such cases, the provider must wait for Board approval before seeing patients in that state.
